William Seaton

William Seaton is a poet, translator, and critic.  His most recent publications are Dada Poems from the German and Spoor of Desire: Selected Poems.  He produces the Poetry on the Loose Reading/Performance Series, teaches in the Northeast Poetry Center’s workshops, and posts five pieces a month (mostly literary) at


Rebecca Schumejda

Rebecca Schumejda is the author of Falling Forward (sunnyoutside, 2009); and several chapbooks. She received her MA in Poetics from San Francisco State University and her BA in English and Creative Writing from SUNY New Paltz. Her new collection Cadillac Men is forthcoming from New York Quarterly Books in 2012.


Guy Reed

Guy Reed is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He is the author of the poetry chapbook, The Effort To Hold Light: 2011, Finishing Line Press. He lives in the Catskill Mountains with his wife and their two children.


Janet Hamill

Janet Hamill is a poet, spoken word artist and painter.  She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and for the William Carlos Williams Prize. She has released two CD’s Flying Nowhere  and Genie of the Alphabet. Hamill is an instructor at the Northeast Center of Poetry’s College of Poetry and sits on the board of the Seligmann Center for Surrealism.


marina mati,

marina mati, Poet and actress, was born and bred in NYC, started as a featured poet there and co-hosted a series in the West Village. Now residing in Orange County, NY, marina has featured at major venues throughout the Hudson Valley. She’s been published in various anthologies and performs on a CD, Preservation.


Robert Milby

Robert Milby hosts 3 poetry series in Orange County, NY. He has many publishing credits. He is half the Poetry and Theremin duo, Theremin Ghosts!with Carl Welden. Robert writes a column for Heyday Magazine, and is a co-founder and  board member of the Northeast Poetry Center’s College of Poetry workshop series.  He is the author of Ophelia’s Offspring and several chapbooks and cds.


Will Nixon

Will Nixon is the co author with Michael Perkins of The Pocket Guide to Woodstock and Walking Woodstock: Journeys into the Wild Heart of America’s Most Famous Small Town. His poetry collections include My Late Mother as a Ruffed Grouse and Love in the City of Grudges. He blogs at


Irene O’Garden

Irene O’Garden’s writing has found its way to the Off-Broadway stage (Women On Fire, Samuel French), into hardcover (Fat Girl,Harper) children’s books  (her newest from Holiday House in 2013)  and literary journals and anthologies. She’s received fellowships, residencies and awards for her writing, including a 2012 Pushcart Prize.


Mike Jurkovic  

Mike Jurkovic has 300 national & international publication credits to date. He has published the book, Purgatory Road (Pudding House Press, 2010). Anthologies: WaterWrites & Riverine (Codhill Pres, 2009, 2007). Co-director of Calling All Poets, Beacon, NY.  CD reviews appear in Elmore Magazine, Folk & Acoustic Music Exchange, Van Wyck Gazette. He loves Emily most of all.
